I looked at a Rhino TW60 rotary cutter with slip clutch and chains. Looks to be a well built mower and touts cutting material up to 2".

Does anyone have any comments on the Rhino Brand and or this particular model?

A dealer I worked for sold Rhino. The TW series is a midddle of the road grade. Heavier than the SE series but not as heavy as __ (I can't remember the heaviest ones). The TW60 is a good mower as far as I know. Go with the slip clutch. I wouldn't put a 100 hp tractor on it though. Dad has an SE5 behind his Oliver 550. It has a nice circular dent in the deck from picking up a rather large rock and it made a lap around underneath. Just a side note.

Manufactored by Alamo Group. Older ones (pre 90's) were supposed to be good mowers. I had a '91 15', bough it new, total POS. Slip clutch recall, gear box blow-outs, mickey-mouse engineering on the deck leveling, back ordered parts, and on and on. Traded it in to the same dealer two years ago and got a Bush Hog 2615L. Way better mower, stronger decks, better gear boxes, does a better job with 25 less horsepower.

Good luck

Rhino is well known in our neck of the woods. I have forgotten details on manufacturer, but we had one once. Best I remember is that it was o.k.
Good luck.
