Is there a Haybine out there that the head swings in parallel to the tongue so you can pull it like a trailer. I'm sure I've seen them? Anybody know the modle number?

New Holland model 495. It's 12foot header and will will condition anything including sudan grass, and it will do it very quickly. They fold up lengthways for pulling or storing, very handy, only problem is that good one's are getting hard to find.

The new disc bines in my area on the lot work that way. Swing the hitch parallel with the machine and then there are wheels that come down so you can pull it that way.

The JD dealer by my house had a trailer that you back the haybine onto, lock the ramps up, then hitch to the trailer and pull it down the road.

Hesston made the hydroswing but I don't know if they swing all the way to the side.

New Holland made them, probably in the late 70s. That market was quickly taken over by the hydraswings. I think one of these would be pretty hard to find.
