I just got an old draw bar mounted mower 7 ft bar
single wheel in the back(dont know the model # either ) , needs a hydraulic cylinder that i was told is shared with the cultivators to raise it up
I need help (diagram ) of how to hook it up !
I know the long rod mounts to the belly of the tractor but I am stumped as to how to hook it up to make it work Can someone give me some guidance ?
Thanks in advance
Kevin

Kevin,

I usually don't have any tractor equipment manuals but your in luck today. I got a box full of manuals at a auction the other day and was sorting them when I read your post and the one in my hands just happened to have a picture of what you discribed in your post.

I think you may have a #27-V or a #27-VA mower. I have scanned the pages dealing with the hydraulic cylinder and you can check them out at the link below.

If your wondering about the age of your mower, the manuals I have are dated 11-19-51--32B for the 27-V and 3-8-54--15B for the 27-VA.

Hope this helps,

Houndman
