I have a 42 in. woods rotary mower with a single pulley and am going to replace clutch parts. When finished how is this lubricated? Grease,Oil, Full, Half full, Nothing? There is no grease fitting so I`m assuming gear oil ,but how much? Thanks ED.

Ed,

Last week I looked at a parts booklet on this mower and there were specific instructions not to over oil the over run clutch or it would fail. I recommend you talk to a Woods dealer to be sure.

I do not know about the Woods, but mine has a fill plug on top of the gear box and another plug on the side about 1/3 way up from the bottom. On mine, you pour gear oil (I use 85-140) in the top hole until it just starts to come out the lower hole.
