does anybody have a better way to move a sickle bar like a 14-16 dearborn around after it is un-hooked from the tractor besides just dragging it. My boys and me are getting tired. I tried a two wheel cart but it don't work good. Thanks for any ideas,I'm just an old tired hand.

I set mine on a pallet an I have built a set of forks/carryall that I use to pick up things like this. My home made carry all has a trailer hitch, lift fork and a 2 5/16ths ball on top to move a goose neck trailer. But the pallets work great for equipment and supplies. I also will use a boom pole if it is being loaded or just not on the pallet.

Front loader works, but I've had it flop around pretty bad a couple of times. The best way I have found is to unbolt the bar and handle it separately. This isn't too bad if you have an air wrench.

Let us know if you figure something out...

I use my frontend loader/backhoe to move my disc mower.... even with that it a bit of a P.I.T.A. because it doesn't balance very well.

I know one thing, I'd be LOST around here without my backhoe.

Every place should have at least a front end loader... you won't believe how useful it is, or how you ever got by without it.

We pulled my cousins out of the barn with a front end loader . . . . can't think of an easy way to move one of those #$@%%$ mowers otherwise.
