I have seen a rake I am wondering about, namely what it is called. I have heard "Estate Rake" but I have seen that name used for rotary rakes also, so I am not sure Please see this link and let me know if you have any ideas.

An "Estate Rake" is a small version of a farm wheel rake, designed to be pulled behind a mid sized garden tractor. Is a trailer type unit with two rubber tired wheels, and six rake wheels. It is useful for raking up grass clippings, leaves, dethaching, or preparing ground for grass seeding. There are two models, one which discharges to the side, and the lesser known model that discharges to the center. They are in the Northern Tool catalog as well as many garden centers. I'm quite happy with mine. If you're really interested, drop me an email, and I'll forward the manufacturer's phone number. (It's on the machine out in the barn, and I'll have to go out to get it!) Called the manufacturer once, and best as I can figure, it was pretty much a Mom and Pop operation - they were good on customer service.

That looks to be some type od home made landscape rake. My guess would be used for yard cleanup, or perhaps to loosen the ground for overseeding.
