I have purchased a disk and dont know the make. I dont know how it is supposed to be lifted, its not a 3 point, its a pull behind. It has a crank in the rear that moves a shaft in the middle with some arms on it, but the arms dont look strong enough to support wheels. Can anyone help? I have pictures that I can send, but I don't know how to put them on this page. I do have one picture on the "Implement photo" section, under "? disk".
Thanks
Dan

It is what's known as an offset disk. One gang on front, one gang on rear. The crank changes the angle between the gangs. They pull pretty hard for their size. The gangs need to be adjusted to parallel for moving over ground that you don't want disturbed.

Acording to the picture it is a drag type, not to be lifted, no wheels, and the crank on the back would be for adjusting the amount of angle for the back gang to the front gang and should be anouther adjustment of some kind on the front to set it in gear, wheather mechanical or for a hydrolic cylinder.

I,donot for sure just looking at the rear blade assembly not being able to see bearing block or houseings .They could of been changed or updated bearings and sometimes hard to tell. Just from the rear section outer blade assembly and the offset angle adjuster could an ANCO, ATHENS, OR ROME ,they all used simllar type adjusters and they also manufactored for many of tractor companies.

Some older discs were not made to be lifted. You just adjusted the angle straight and pulled them. Neet looking machine though.
