A while back in a post I asked about a 330 case baler. From the replys I`m glad I was`nt with you guys in person or I may have been smacked for thinking about buying a baler that was`nt a JD or NH . I did buy the baler in a package deal . I custom bailed for several years with NH balers , Rode the wagon behind a few different JD`s . The JD`s cant come close to the nice bale that case makes and other than a 310 NH we used it out baled the NH`s . Like with all your older equipment , dont push it , Not in a hurry anymore . Makes me wonder how many of the people that replyed had ever seen a 330 case baler let alone run one !!!!

That's great that it works good, and I hope it goes a long time for you. I think the main advantage of the JD and NH balers is parts availability. Not sure what's available for the Case balers anymore. From what I remember, on balers so equipped, Case used a thrower with a piece of high speed roller chain equipped with bale spikes to throw the bale. My neighbor had one in the late 60's and early 70's and said that chain just loved to give trouble.
