Hi,

I would like to know what my equipment is worth.
Here is what I have:

Ford 501 sickle mower with 6 foot bar, works great
New Holland 272 Square baler, works good, makes a good tight bale and knots it good aswell.
DARF 4 wheel hayrake looks and works good
6 foot rear blade, near new and chains for smaller tractor
Massey Ferguson 35 Diesel tractor, works great Maschio Rototiller, works good 5'
Spring tine harrow, really good condition
Case #10 Sickle mower, all painted up, needs some adjustments

If it is possible, I would like separate prices for each machine.

Thanks,
Mark

Prices vary depending on geographic location. I'll give you what stuff like that might bring in New Jersey. Ford 501 mower in working order: $100-150. Case mower: $25 or less. Darf rake: $100 or less. 272 baler, no thrower: $1000-1200. With thrower: $1500-1800. Spring harrow, good shape, assuming it's 9' (a popular size in my parts) and a drag type, $50 or less. MF 35 diesel in nice shape, assuming more than 50% tread on rears, $2500-3000. Maschio tiller if in good shape could bring $500, maybe more. Depends on how high new ones cost now. Remember, dealer prices are often a lot higher than off-the-farm prices.

Guys,

Thanks for your replies. I have sold the rake and baler $1000 for both. I sold the Case mower for $100. The spring harrow is 7 foot and 3 point mounted. It is a Ransomes. The tread on the tractor tires is 95%. We have been offered $2600 for it and my Ford mower. It sounds pretty good to me.

Thanks,
Mark

Location, location, location. The baler could bring $500 in one part of the country, or $1500 in another part. When folks ask values, gotta know where you are located.

Is your 501 mower with or without pitman? Without is worth more. 'Here' they go for $200-450.

Paul,

Thanks for the reply. I am in the central interior of British Columbia, Canada. The 501 has a pitman arm.

Thanks,
Mark
