Is a Bush Hog a pasture topper?

I've been reading the messages about using a "bush hog" for hay conditioning. I think the Bush Hog is what we in England call a pasture topper but I'm not sure. Basically the topper is an overgrown rotary mower with two flail blades pivoted at the ends of a rotor bar (total diameter about 5 or 6 ft). Is this the same thing as a bush hog? I've been trying to work out which side panel to remove. Mine rotates clockwise (viewed from the top). Thanks
Colin

Bush Hog is a brand name of a implement manufacture. A lot of people misuse the name to describe a rotary cutter, such as a pasture topper.

Sounds like the same thing. :) Burrhead (I think) had some good advice a few months ago on making hay with one.

Many thanks to you all for the info. Hopefully I'm all set to make hay - all I need now is the weather (always in seriously short supply over here!)
Thanks
Colin
