I was just given a Massey-Harris-Ferguson side delievery rake Model 36. It is missing the gear box and drive shaft with universals. Does anyone know of any information of this rake. Are there parts to be found and what how old might this rake be. Thanks GEF

GEF: A good solid rake that was sold by the hundreds here in Ontario. Good ones will still go for about $800 at a sale. They were sold for about 25 years so go to your Massey dealer and lean on the parts man. If he gets on his parts line, he should be able to find you what you need. If that's too expensive, head for a big salvage yard or watch the auction lists. Good luck. Tom
