Went to an auction to look at the "grove machinery" listed under the scrap column and found 2 McCormick corn binders and 1 John Deere pto grain binder. All the wood, canvas parts had long since rotted away and seats were gone. I was able to buy one of the corn binders for $5 but I arrived late and had to buy the other McCormick and the John Deere back from the scrap dealer so they cost a little more ($35). I probably won't get to working on them for a while but till then they will be safely stored at my place. Sadly I wasn't able to save a nice pull type Ford Combine..... .

I'm glad some one does these things. I helped a guy last week pull a junked M-H binder out of the weeds . he needed it for parts to restore his father's binder. I know where ther is a Mc Cormick in the bush, maybe next summer...good luck...Mike in Exeter ontario
