Don't know the names of the parts, so I'll make up my own. The part is the cast ball-joint part that is riveted or screwed to the cutter bar (?) and attaches to the drive shaft. Mine is broken and doesn't provide much strength to the cutter bar (?) so that it tends to flex and eventually breaks. Also, any idea where I can get ahold of the rivets I need?

Art, I bought a bunch of sections at a tractor show thinking they were all I-H but the bottom half of the pile are different and are stamped "Detroit" This type of mower is new to me, how old is it how did you come by it?.If I know the measurements of the sections hole to hole these sections may be of use to you.

Art, the part you need is called the knife head. As far as rivits you might check your local ag dealer. A lot of these rivits are the same from one make to another so they might very well have something that would work for you. Good luck
