A neighbor has been kind enough to give me two Model 350 mowers. Here is the catch: They are both basket cases, completly dis-assembled. The wobble case is broken on both at the same exact spot. Any suggestions where I can obtain a case in good condition cheaply? I have been informed a new case is $640.00. I would not like to spend this much and find I still can't put all the pieces back togather & make it work. Any one here with experiance along this line with any information and suggestions please reply! Thanks!

Any way to weld it back?

I think not Johnnie. Showed the broken part to several very good welders & the general opinion is that it would never work due to the stress, vibration, and location of the broken cast iron part. They recomend a new case. I am looking for a parts catalogue or repair manual to guide me in re-assymbling the machine. I am hoping to find a used but servicable replacement part. Thanks for the input!

Hi
We also have a 350 sicklebar mower but have not been able to figure out how to hook it up. Does anyone know where to get a manual or diagram on where the spring and chains hook up. What is the purpose of the bar up front
Any help is appreciated.
thanks.
