My IH 990 haybine got slighty bent on the front where the cutter bar goes. Does anyone have an idea on how to striaghten this edge. I have tried to pound it out with a hammer and now I'm thinking of putting a 6X6 post on it at an angle from the ground and pushing on it with my loader tractor. The bend puts pressure on the cutter bar and causes the bar at the end to break away from the rocker arm. Thanks, Mark

Try useing a jack on the bent place. put a chain over the jack and hook chain in a place where you can press it back if possable. If you have an old railroad jack you may make it work on topside.
