Loader on IH H

I just recently obtained a JD loader off an IH H. The man that sold it to me had sent his tractor out for restoration so I am not sure how the hydralic lines hook up. T cylinders are double acting but the farmall system is only set up for a single acting. Does any one know where the front lines on the cylinders go? Or does any one know what the front line on the left side goes? Any help would be appriciated.

Does the bucket have a mechanical trip, or cylinder/s to dump it? If it has cylinders, the loader won't work with single acting hydraulics.

Otherwise, there are special vents that you screw in in place of the second hose to turn a double-acting cylinder into a single acting. It just filters the air a bit.

Since the H does not have a live pto or hydraulics (I know, I'm running a loader on mine & it takes some special skills...) you might want to look into a hydraulic pump that mounts by the distributor - I think they fit on an H, and with some searching you can find these. Or maybe you already have this? Guess I should ask that first, are you trying to use the original H belly hydraulics?

Paul Thanks, It does have a trip lever to dump, and I am using the original pump. The thing is that the person I bought it off of had it hooked up with the original pump but had it hooked up with two hoses. Do you think that the front hoses vented back into the hydralic tank fill hole? Over the week end I did see one hooked up this way.
