Just bought an International hay rake from a neighbor. Done haying for the year so won't need it till next year. The mechanical clutch that engages the drive has one worn out plate. Where can a guy get parts or manuals for these. Is International even still in business? Didn't pay much for the thing but would still like to have it working by next year.

What does the rake look like. We had two that we parked because we got a good new holland 56 hay rake. Our rakes had two big wheels in the front and two small wheels in the back for turning. It was side delivery. If this is what you have, then parts are really hard to find for these rakes. That is also part of the reason we parked the rakes. Good luck though, with the internet you can almost find any part.

International merged some years back with Case to become Case/International. Then a year or two ago Case/International merged with New Holland to become Case/New Holland. I understand the new company intends to keep separate dealership networks for the C/I stuff and the New Holland (Ford) stuff....at least for now. Look in your phone book for a Case/International dealer for your first source for parts/manuals. Good luck.
