I was trying to cut about 5 acres of hay tonight and the fly wheel for the pitman got a bunch of hay wrapped around it and it came off the shaft, the picture shows the fly wheel, what is supposeed to hold this in place? I cannot find any bolt or set screw on the fly wheel that hold's it on, I drove it on with a hammer for the picture, also is there supposed to be a guard under the wheel to prevent this from happening?
And while I'm asking question's in the 3 round's I did make I had trouble with hay building on the first 5 or 6 guards that wouldn't fall off the cutting bar, the guide arm mounted on the hinged part of the bar is factory and seems to be angled properly, why is it gathering up hay when I get into the thicker stands? otherwise it cuts like a dream and lays down hay nicely until it gathers up, if needed I'll try and post a picture of the problem area tommorow night when I get it out again.
Thank's in advance.

If you look closely at the end of the shaft, there should be threads there. A nut should screw onto the threads and a cotter key should keep the nut from coming loose. Good luck.
