1st thing is to remove the knotter drive chain if you have it back on yet. Now roll the flywheel counter clock wise til the main crank rod is sticking straight up on a 90 to the frame. Now roll the knotters by hand til they are in their "home" position and are tight against the brake stop. Now reach over and pull the knotter yoke rod where it attaches to the knotter upwards to remove any slack from the rod. The easiest way I have found to roll the knotters into the right position is to roll the feeder tine rod until the connecting bolt is at about a 7 o'clock position. You will see 2 chisel marks on the feeder tine chamber rail. The bolt goes between the 2 marks. The knotter time mark should now be at about a 2 o'clock position on the knotter drive hub. Now roll the knotter chain drive sprocket til the outter mark lines up to the inner mark. Now reinstall the chain with so it has no slack in it. If you have a fax I can send you the pix and manual description but my scanner is down right now so I can't email them.
