I am loking for a stabilizer guide/clamp for the right hand side of my mower. The local dealer wants a fortune for the piece. Is there someplace that sells parts a little cheaper. Have not found any at the local scrap farm dealers. Thanks for any help.

I bought a 501 mower that was missing the right clamp I made my own. Found someone who had a 501 took some measurements off of it. I took two 1/2 inch black pipe collars a flat piece of steel welded them together. The 1/2 inch collars fit on to your mower on the other end I drilled a hole and cut two 3 or 4 inch angle iron to make a clamp and bolted the three pieces to your 3 point hitch arm. It's not factory but works just the same. And cheap too. Good luck.
P.S. May have been 3/4 inch collars depending on what size pin you have.

Which type of arm do you have the round knob or the flat bar?
