Huskee Model 165 gravity box ??

I am looking at a Huskee Model 165 gravity box that my neighbor has. Currently it is not on a running gear. It is not in the best condition. I see the corners have been patched on the inside of the box with galvanized flat stock tin to cover holes from over time. I don't know the history of the wagon, if it was used for fertilizer hauling, besides grain hauling. I guess my question is, any idea what this gravity box maybe worth? Sorry I don't have any pics of it. It has been setting in the grove on the ground for a few years already. I want to use it again for hauling grain. Used wagon prices have shot up tremendously lately and I don't need very big wagons for my little farm. Thank you all for any input/advice.

Figure out what it weighs (I might have that info here someware) and find out scrap price and use the weight and see how much it comes to and i think you will be under a hundred. Then figure out how much work you are going to have to put in to keep if from spliting out under a load and have to pick up that load off the ground. It just may not be worth even scrap price that the $150 is way above value. They were only sold for just a few years by TSC. I think the weight will come in under a thousand pounds and for the $150 sugjested scrap would need to be in the $300 ton range.

Only problem is I do not know where to find those catalogs as of now. both TSC and Sears and wards farm catalogs. If I could I could have possibly identified Bryce's manure spreader. The biggist bed we had was a Kill bros of that size and with the gear I am thinking but probably wrong that the entire wagon was less than 1,800#. I know 2 good men could pick up one end of a bed at a time when empty to put it back in place when they would jump over a bolster stake if they were not tied fast.

Im in southwestern iowa and around here they dont want the smaller gravity wagons I bought a husky 165 on an 8 ton john deere gear for $265- and another generic wagon on better gear for $300 got them out of the junkyard good shape the tires were even up and fair condtion both have extendable tounges I guess im a packrat

I forgot to add this also. Anyone have any idea how many bushels this gravity box holds? I don't have any dimensions of the box either, sorry. Thank you.

If its a model 165, thats probably what it holds. I'd offer junk price. Using it for fert. its gonna keep rusting. $150 seems fair.
