Just bought this planter. I am a hobby farmer and want to plant an acre and half of sweet corn. Does anyone have an owners manual that they can copy and e-mail to me? Thanks in advance. This is my first time here. I have 10 {5 pair}of wheels that gage the seeds and don't know which one to use.

Using the correct plate is very important for sweet corn to get a even stand and correct spacing and the seed company always has plate suggestions. I have plates for sale if you don't have the correct one...

With out a manual, look on the bay of seed corn, most bags got aa chart on it to state which plate number to use for the corn in the bag.If their isn't take a couple of kernels and start to fit them into the slots of the plates, to see which one it fits the best in . Do not use a plate smaller than the kernel. I will check in the shop, to see if i have the book yet, wouldn't be till tonite, got a funeral today. If you use a plate bigger than the kernel, the plant population will go up.

Thanks Alvin Dad and I went out tonight and planted. There was no chart on the bag so we took a seed and matched it up with the wheels. Hope we guessed right. I found out my dad ordered the book from CaseIH
