Last fall I bought a cultipacker. So far I've been unable to identify who made it. The main frame is 87" wide and each pup is 43.5" wide. I've found the number P105S cast on a spokeless end wheel, and P105 on a spoked wheel. The bearing case has the number M25U cast in it. The wheels are 3-3/4" wide and 14" in diameter.

Who made it? The frame looks a lot like an early JD crowfoot packer but not like a 50's vintage V wheel cultipacker from JD and the part numbers don't quite match any thing from JD.

IH made a v type and a crow-foot angle iron frame land packers or culti-packers.some of these packers used cast boxen that held wooden bearings inside for the shaft to turn in.

I took a look again today. Found a little red paint on the underside of the tongue and on the angle iron top frame. Has alternating V wheels and sprocket wheels.
