Thanks for the good advice; went to my friendly and much closer Case Dealer who ordered the W-127 belt for under $55; Have done business with them when working on Dad's Super A. New Holland quoted at $80. Looking forward to smooth grass cutting; the wife thinks the bush hog makes a mess.

You can buy other belts for less money, however they won"t last. Took three belts at 30 a piece before I gave up and bought a woods belt for 65. The cheap belts lasted 1/2 to 3/4 hour a piece before destroying, this was with only mowiny grass every week. The woods finished out the season and then was used to brush hog an old orchard, where if I could run over a tree with the tractor I mowed it. Fianaly broke mowing 2 1/2 foot tall grass around a pond. Replaced it with another woods belt and have over 50 hourts on thios one. Bottom line is to buy the Woods belt and it will be cheaper in the long run.

That sounds about right. Sounds like a lot but our last belt lasted almost 20 years...

Hope this helps?
