Is a Vicon really the best spinner/pendulum spreader? I am looking at smaller one, model 403(new), and they seem VERY expensive, like I have been quoted $2000+. Is this because they are imported from Holland and the value of the dollar, or are they really that well made? What would the right price be for a new one of these? It seems like I coud buy six Italian jobs like a Nordagri for the same money. I would be using it mostly for seed, rarely fertilizer. Any suggestions appreciated.

I have a vicon spreader on ebay right now its at $100.00 nows the time to get one cheap in great condition

I bought the cheepo and wash it with soap and water after fertilizing, works fine.
