Can anyone please tell me which steel or steels are used to make snow plow blades. what is the name of the steel. Thank you

Mike I�m only posting because no one else has on my tractor I used CRS (cold Rolled Steel) for the blade and I think most do and use a hard scraping edge for the bottom if you wont the steel type for the scraping edge you could use 4140 or O-1 tool steel they both drill similar to CRS and you would have to heat treat them or just use CRS for the scraping edge and replace every few years I hope this helps you
