Have you got a duplex hopper walk behind or iron wheeled mounted planter. I suppose one side would feed a little ferilizer but I wouldn't want the fertilizer that close to the seed. I have two Iron Age -Cole planters that I use and have replaced the original cloth belt feed fertilizer hoppers with IH fertilizer unit off an old corn planter and feed the fertilizer to the side by one of the disk openers. If you try it with fertilizer a 34 hole pea plate would work. Good luck.

Don't do it. Why mess up the planter.
The left and right plates turn in opposite directions. You will need different plates. Powell MFG (in North Carolina) still makes the pates and you cac get them from your local dealer. (They don't sell direct) You can plant corn from both hoppers or two different seeds such as peas and corn.

I have one and this is what I do with it.

good luck
