Need seed plates for Ford 309 Planter

I recently purchased a Ford model 309 2 row corn planter. I am planning to plant about 2 acres of sweet corn this year. I am looking for some used or reasonably prices seed plates. I checked with a dealer and they want 47.85 for each plate. Can anyone help me, or tell me a place to look? I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks in advance.

I just called them this afternoon, they sell plastic plates for about $12.00 each and most sweetcorn bags have their plate numbers listed.
