New chains should be available at farm stores such as T.S.C. etc.

I needed a set of chains for my tractor and found they were just too expensive to purchase new. So, after winter was over, I did some looking around for used or damaged large truck chains...like the city or county would use on their snow plows and can be purchased from the salvage department.

Anyway, I am now the proud owner of a $40.00 and 4 hour welding project set of chain. They are beautiful with their distintive 2way cross links, cleats of different types, and assorted welds. You know what, they worked just find last winter. I tighten them with bungy cords
and baling wire and just keep my 1957 International under 70 mph. : : looking for a set of used(or new)chains for a 9n
