HELP I HAVE FOUND A49 JD WHAT WOULD BE A GOOD PRICE TO PAID FOR IT I WAS GOING TO BUY IT DOESNT HAUE A 3PT HITCH HOOK UP. MISSING SOME PIECES ON THE GRILL. THANK YOU DANNY D

Tough question, because the real determinant of value is the mechanical condition of the tractor (I'm assuming the grill is the only metal messed up). As long as there wasn't major mechanical damage, such as a broken crank, busted block or head, etc, it's probably worth between $800 and $1,500 depending on overall condition. If it will start and run well, you can be more confident in the upper end price. Also, if it has high compression, that's a good sign. You can replace the grill with a rebuilt one for about $200 per side. See Link about three point hitch prices. Good luck.
