I am in need of a good 2 row 3 pt hitch planter. Live in southwestern, ohio. If anybody has one for sale, please let me know. Thanks P.S. Will be used for sweet corn and bush beans.

Salvage yards often have a number of 2 row horse drawn planters like IH or JD. I've seen a number of people around here take the 2 row horse drawn IH and weld on a 3 pt hitch. It works very well. The last I knew new plates were still available for the IH planter as they used the same plates for a long time. There are a lot of plates in salvage yards too. It can be a problem to find good fertilizer buckets for the old planters.
