I have found a good set of 2 bottom 12" Ferguson plows-3pt.hitch. Rolling cutters, tail wheel,& moldboards are all good-just needs cleaned up & painted to go with my 1949 8N. Asking price is $225. Is this about right or a little high???? Thanks for any help.

the good ones are getting hard to find and you don't need to run down a used coulter, which can be difficult. Problem: Do you know a blacksmith that can put a new edge on plow lays/plow shears (different name for same thing)? I have a 2-12 Ford with the trip-beam frame and throw-away lays and coverboards that cost $275 last fall. It is not for sale! Mike-Iowa

That is a very good price in the midwest at least. I would buy it if I had the chance.

I gave $250 for my Ferg. 2 bottom 14". It needed a lot of TLC, but it will turn out to be a show piece.

I paid $80. for mine, and I'd like to sell
it for a lower 2 bottom. I'm trying to fit it
to my MH30 proprietary 3PH, but its too high,
28In. The back end of the boards were sitting on
the ground for a good many years, and were
rusted out quite a bit. I'll have to weld and
hardface the rotted out ends with 1/4 plate before I sell. Anyway, with good bearings and straight shares
I guess $250 is a little high around here (Ont).
I saw a really nice one go at auction for 175. It depends on geography and demand. Blue.

You are talking about 2 of the same plow, $225 for both right? If so that's a fair price.

No JR, it is one two bottom plow with 12" moldboards that were made for 8N Fords. I thought it sounded a little high but 12" plows are getting a little scarce around here (IN) probably due to us collectors.
