Were the original mowers designed for a 1953 Farmall Super C attached to the 2 point fast hitch or pulled from the draw bar. Where might I find a new mower that can be pulled from the draw bar? If I get a 3 point hitch, will the Super C hydraulics lift a 5 foot mower? Thanks for all responses. -- Martin

I have a mounted mower for my Super C that I got off a C. It clamps onto the axles and just hangs there, no trailer wheel or anything to help support it. That's a problem, because its starting to sag with old age. Its not on the tractor now, but I can send you a pic if that will help. Email me if you'd like one. I don't know what other options were available. The guts are the common IH style mower.

1.I'm not familiar with IH pull behinds for Super C.
2. Bush Hog,John Deere,King Kutter all make pull behinds. Check their webb sites for size and model #'s, then call local dealers for price and availability. Around here 5' King Kutter with slip clutch and solid tires are about $1000.00 new.
3. Yes, the hydraulics will lift a 5' 3pt if you have a 3pt hitch.
Hope this helps.
