Need some back round information on the plow, know it's two bottom and on Steel :o) thats about it. Need little help about company and age give or take 10 years..... thanks for your help in advance Charlie aka F20II :o)

Looks like it might be 2bottom 12" john deere number 52 plow. If you can get the numbers stamped into the top of the beams after the words"JOHN DEERE" we can tell for sure. Numbers 612 and 613 would be on a #52 plow built 1935-1947. First year 1934would have beams 610 and 611. Bob

On the back of the moldboard, there is the number 1442F, and under that is a stylized "JD". This is a John Deere plow from the Syracuse works in New York. Syracuse Chilled Plow had been an independent manufacturer that Deere took over early in the 20th century to get into the eastern plow market, and to get their horsedrawn disk harrow. The Syracuse name remained on many plow parts into the 1950's.
