I enjoy reading the forum but felt lost when certain makes and models were described. I now can look up the NH and Ford equipment. Just got my copy of A CENTURY OF FORD AND NEW HOLLAND FARM EQUIPMENT delivered today. Now I can look up implements and tractors that everyone is discusssing.

The book is mainly a pictorial history with a brief discription of each company and the equipment they made. It has a picture of a model 87 baler. A table has it's first year of model 80 production in 1949, wire tie, bale size of 16x18, 57.5 inch pickup with engine drive, 4 cyl, 154 cu in, 20 hp. This model looks alot like the original model NH made. They also made a model 98 that looks like the 87 but was a three tie wire baler which produced 18x22 bales.

How did you get it or where to order? My NH dealer told me, Oh that's just for dealers. Would like to order a copy. Thanks.
