Are AC planters any good? I have had a post about my 2-row for 2-weeks and nobody has replied. I used my 2-row this spring and it did'nt impress me. Are parts easy to get from AGCO, and are they expensive? Parts are probaly rare for mine since it doesn'nt seem like many were made and it is more or less about 50 years old. Sorry I can't help with the 390.

Actually, I don't really care whether the planter is good or not. I'm just interested in the bar. It is the same as a Carmaco. Front fold with transport dolly underneath, lift assist wheels on the ends. approx 12' wide when folded. I would try to get something out of the units if I found one complete and install JD 7000 units and transmission. I guess that some of the seed growers are using the AC units to plant seed corn since they are individually ground driven.
