I would like to purchase a particular 3 point implement, but cannot recall what it is called. It's a landscaping tool for light grading. It has two rows of steel teeth similar but not exactly like a grader box, followed by a spiked roller. Anybody know what this tool is called?
Thanks,
Jim

you want a pulverizer.check out woodsonline.com. other companies like bush hog and land pride make them too.the old timers like myself refer to them as a gill, but the gill company is no longer with us.if you buy one you may want to consider the straight teeth rather than the shanks.good luck

Thanks. I'm glad you also mentioned the "gill" moniker. Many years ago I worked for a landscape company and did a lot of tractor work. Now I rememeber that my boss called our pulverizer a "gill tool". Thats the name I was trying to think of. So even though it's really a pulverizer, I would have known that it wasn't the name I was trying to think of, and it would have bugged me forever. Thanks again!

Hi Jim,
I just bought a used Lands Pride 6' pulverizer. It has two rows of steel plate "teeth" which can be reversed when the first wear down. It has one spiked roller although two are available. We are planning to use it to groom our riding arena. I hope it works well for that purpose.
