Nodak,

Picture of a Kingcutter Landscape Rake just before being put away for the season..Not familiar with a rock rake as we are a number of miles from the nearest rock.

How I envy you! All the ^%$%^& rocks I've picked up in my life.....

Tim has it right for a farmer, while some will call that landscape rake a rock rake too.

What Tim(NJ) says is absolutely correct, but around here (Maine) the terms are used interchangeably to mean a landscape rake. They're also called a York rake, which I believe is a brand name for a landscape rake.

What "we" call a rock rake "here" is a machine that digs several inches down in loose soils with a rotary mechanism to flip out rocks and stones, putting them into a neat windrow, which is then collected by a rock picker. A landscape rake is a much simpler tool that is used for shallow, small scale rock and root removal, and for spreading and leveling topsoil, mulch, gravel, etc.

Is a "Rock Picker" a tow behind tool having Multiple rods (Looked kinda like a metal comb) sticking out the front with a Hyd Cyl that flipped the rocks into a hopper and another cyl that flipped the hopper into a trailer?

Yes, that's one version. There is also a rotary version that allows continuous movement without having to stop and flip rocks into the hopper with the hydraulic cylinder. It has behind the "comb" what looks like a waterwheel with slatted buckets. This wheel flips the rocks and soil up and over onto a rod grate that lets any soil drop out but guides the rocks into the dump basket.
