Looking for a small, ground driven, manure spreader, to pull behind ATV. Approx. 25 bush.
For our small horse farm. Anyone know where I can find any info on mfgs.? I know someone makes them, I'v seen them before. I live near Richmond, VA. Thanks, George

George; you might try Country Manufacturing P.O. box 104, 333 Salem Ave. Fredericktown Ohio 43019 Ph 614 694 9926. Sorry they don't show a E-Mail address. They sell a 25 and a 75 bushel manure spreader models 600 and 1200 respectivly. I don't own one but saw their display at a recent farm show. They seemed reasonably well built and were kind of cute, at least when compaired to my old JD model L. No prices in this book I have. Hope this helps keep the sxxt flying. Roy

I think I have the 25 bushel model from this manufacturer. I bought it at Sears about a year ago. Sears called it "Country Estate Spreader". It works reasonably well but is a bit tempermental and seems to be broken a lot. However, we work it hard running about 2-3 loads through it a day spreading over rough ground. We pull it behind a riding mower. Price was about $1000.
