I just bought a Oliver 3-16 bottom plow. Its all hydrulic and in pretty good shape. It does need new rubber however. I paid $225for it, is that too much? Thanks

We've been collecting oliver plows for a couple years and lately the price you paid seems reasonable. I've heard of a couple 4240 and 4340 three bottom plows binging somewhere around $400-$500 on sales. Good luck finding anything cheaper than $200 on an auction. The cheapest plows we bought were about nine years ago. We bought a oliver no. 414 and a TNT for $25 FOR THE PAIR!! I've got pictures of most o8ur plows online if you want to take a look.

If you are happy then you didn't pay too much. I have seen some Oliver plows bring $300 to $500. The day of the $50 farm sale plow is gone. Do you know the model? Does it have a breakaway hitch or a solid drawbar with trip bottoms? Is the tail wheel small (8 inch I think) or the same size as front wheels. Do you have any other Oliver equipment? Let me know. Will talk Oliver with anyone who wants to.
