I have an old 5 foot bushhog mower 3 PT that has nothing on it to link it to a brand other than the gear box. It is marked, Warner, Auburn, Ill. Any clues to what make this mower is? Thanks

Whatever ya want to call em I am in the same boat Have an OLD 5ft that has no markings on it even under the 1/4 inch of rust.It was built to last two lifetimes and still works ! It has an open gearbox with a pto shaft that looks like a drive shaft with u-joints on each end, splined and pinned to hook to the gearbox and pto of tractor.it can be either pull behind or 3 point and has laminated wheels with a crank adjustment for height adjustment . If you find out what brand yours is a photo of it may help me as i need a tire and drive shaft
Thanks Kevin

On the Bush Hog brand, I have only seen a cast number on the gear box and no city or state. The Bush Hog brand is manufactured in Selma, Alabama.

and both have come into common usage as a generic name for a range of brand-specific products.
