I just purchased a JD model 127 rotary cutter (5 foot pull type). It was made in Canada. Does anyone know about when this model was manufactured. The serial number is 003.

The first new piece of equipment I remember. Around 1960. Dad bought one to pull behind the JD A. Pull type, no hydraulics. Had regular car/truck type tires on each side and a crank that was threaded to raise and lower. Good machine, lasted for years. Worst thing was the tires were always flat.
I don't know how long JD made them. dwm
