Hi all...

With some help from the good folks on the farmall board, I was able to get this thing successfully mounted on my Farmall "H" - I now have more questions though about its operation...

This is a drawbar semi-mounted 7' sicklebar mower that has hydrolic lift and a wood pitman arm. The curious thing is that when I engage the hydrolic lift, the whole bar apparatus lifts horizontally off the ground about a foot or two. I was under the impression that this lift would actually raise the cutting bar from the horizontal position to the vertical position. Am I mistaken? Is something hooked up wrong?

Please help!

Thanks

That is right. It only lifts the bar a foot off the ground so you don't remow already mowed hay.

The rest of the way is on your own, be careful!

Hope this helps!

They just raise about a foot off the surface. To get to vertical is manual. Watch your fingers.
