Other good sites??

I've learned a lot and enjoy the discussion here and on the 8N forum, but I need information on other farming issues and need to find a forum like this (good folks, helpful etc) that'll talk about other-than-equipment stuff. Like 'what's a good way to prepare an old field for crops without using a lot of herbicides?'

That sort of thing. Any suggestions for good sites to visit?

I also linked in the Texas A&M Range and Forage center discussion group. I like it when I need to get answers from the professor farmers with a degree in every area of the farm.

Combine Talk Show (Um, harvest.com????) is the best for combines.

agriculture.com used to be good, but the company that runs it rammed some crappy software upon us that really, really sucks for us users, so many of us went to newagtalk.com - these are the hardcore farmers, and are probably pretty busy in the fields right now so looks like low traffic, but folks are there. :)

wefarm.net would be well run, but has almost no traffic.

ytmag.com saw the light & came back to easy to use software, & is always good. :)
