Spreader Chain

I looked at Central Tractor/Quality/Whomever for a new apron chain for my JD H spreader. $240 plus freight just ain't in the picture, budget-wise.

Does anyone have a source for individual components? All I really need is one bar (or the special links that the bar attaches to, the bar is okay) and a half-dozen links of #67 chain.

Shoup Manufacturing. Very reasonable for complete chains. I think they also sell individual chain parts.

Nice folks. They don't have a complete chain for my particular application, but do have the chain in bulk, and the links that rivet to the bars, so I'm good to go. Prices are pretty reasonable. I can get enough links to make the entire chain for about half what Quality Farm & Fleet wanted for a complete chain, with bars.
