Rear loader/dump?

I have a 541, and love using it. I also own a compact (mini) excavator, and use this for all my digging work. I have a job to do in which I need to move the soil a short distance, and am looking for a dump bucket or rear loader that I can load with the mini. A rear scoop won't work because of the mechanism over the bucket. Any ideas or sources would be appreciated.

The easiest way to go would be to find a dump bed wagon with hydraulic hoist. In my area you can usually find dump bed hay type wagons for around $400, and they will haul quite a load

I had thought of going that route, however, since I would have to buy a valve for the remotes to add onto my tractor, and the manouvrabilty factor, I'm leaning towards a tractor mount unit. Another factor is that I can't locate a swinging drawbar for my 541 offset, so having only the 11 hole drawbar on the 3pth makes it a nuisance backing up trailers. I know that Westendorf, Ford, and Dearborn all make or made rear loaders, but I can't seem to find any pictures or info/availability for any of them.

Could you make something out of a simple carry-all by constructing a box to hold the soil. Make a quick release, chain maybe if you are careful, for the top link. When you get to where you want to dump it unhook the top link andyou can dump the box by lifting the 3point, drag it out and rehook.

Might work as long as you are dumping it straight onto the ground.

good luck

You might be better off with a snowmobile or other 2-wheel trailer & mechanical dump - you can't hang much weight out behind the rear wheels & the tractor becomes unstable.
