I am trying to find information about early international mowers and seed drills. We are most interested in original paint for items to be rebuilt. One of the mowers to be worked on has the words "New Idea Giant" can anyone tell me about this. Thanks

Look for a plate somewhere on the "Giant" mower that says Coldwater, Ohio on it. That one sounds like it was made by New Idea Farm Machinery, not International. CH Wendell's Book 150 Years of International Harvester has a lot of pictures that may help identify what you have, and may help with part placement/arrangement and machine appearance(useful if what you're restoring isn't 100% complete), but they are unfortunately all B/W pics.

Tim I read your follow up on the international mowers. We have one that just says international #9 on the small tool box. Do you know anything about it?
