Old Potatoe Digger On Steel????

I have an old potatoe digger on steel that I bought from an old farmers widow down the road.The chains & most everything is in good shape & this thing actually works.It has no color what-so-ever left on it & was wondering if anyone is an expert in this field & could identify who made this thing if I e-mail you a picture of it. I bumped into one of those things (literally) when mowing an overgrown fencerow for the new owner of an abandoned truck farm/ greenhouse setup. It wasn't all there, but we found Hoover on it. Hoover became part of Deere eventually. The property owner gave it to a local living history farm museum. Don't know what their intentions are with it yet.
