I have an old NH Model 80 Baler. When I contact the nearest dealer looking for parts, depending on who I talk to I get two kinds of answers one helpful one very much not.(I think I got on his wrong side the first time I visited the store and he responded to my request for NH80 parts with NH NEVER made a Model 80!, so I handed him my NH 80 parts book!) So I'm looking for a dealer that will take the time required to answer my parts inquirys. Does anybody have a NH dealer they are pleased to work with? Appreciate your answer. Dick

Try Marshalls Ford(yep, they still go by Ford...business cards, receipts, and even the sign on the building) in West Liberty, Ky. They are some real people. Only problem is there just aren't enough of them...I have a hard time getting through most of the time when I call...they just stay that busy. They always go way out of the way to help me and I'm not a big money spender. Phone # is 606-743-3147.

We have 2 family owned and operated NH dealers near me. Both of the NH dealers and their staff are exceptionally helpful courteous and professional.

Just down the street from both NH dealers there are mega JD dealerships owned by some big yuppie corp from somewheres else than here.

Both of these JD dealerships are kind of like going to Wal-Mart. They both need some adult leadership. When I'm looking for tractor parts I don't like to hear a DUH? or HUH? in my conversation.

That's the main reason we have replaced 4 of the Deeres with NH this time. As the JD's get tired we'll replace all the JD with NH.

My local New Holland dealer--Ceresville Ford-New Holland--couldn't be better. Their parts department is patient and goes 'above and beyond' frequently. One guy even loaned me his father's original operator's manual for my sicklebar mower while NH had a reprint sent to me! For over a year now they've been willing to spend time with this 'city boy' as I learn which end is up, mostly on older, used equipment picked up at auctions elsewhere.

good luck,
Tom

I guess we're lucky in MD, Rathell Equipment, just north of Easton, has been very helpful and reasonable on parts every time I have visited them. Also, over in Selbyville, DE, Selbyville New Holland has been very accomodating.

My John Deere dealer answers all my NH baler, rake and Ford tractor questions very well. I buy all my parts for all my equipment from him. He has all the parts catalogs on CD-Rom and knows how to search for what i need.
