Could anyone tell me the names of brush hogs that have a removeable side panel to cut hay with.Thanks

They were called "Hayside Mowers" They'll leave the cuttings alongside in sort of a windrow. They're also good when mowing high thick weeds with a low horsepower tractor by raising the back of the mower up a couple of inches higher than the front. It's not a problem cutting with sharp blades, just getting rid of it so you don't have to cut it again. But the downside is they can hit one further than Ken Griffey Jr. if you hit something.----L8R----Fred

Woods did make mowers with a removable left side a few years ago, but I don't know if they still do. I bought a 6ft. mower about 15 years ago to cut hay. It works well as long as you keep the knives sharp and your speed up. Best thing now is a disc mower. Good luck
